School shoes
A young person who is in crisis accommodation after escaping domestic violence and requiring shoes
This young person and their mother have recently escaped domestic violence and are now living in crisis accommodation. Due to having to leave suddenly, they were only able to take limited belongings as resulted in the young person not having the correct shoes for school. The young person requires all black leather or fake leather sneakers that are able to be worn for sport and in the classroom. The shoes are not able to be mesh due to safety requirements when working in the workshop or science labs.
Examples of appropriate school shoes are:
- Vans Old Skool Leather shoes (all black)
- Vans Authentic Leather shoes (all black)
- Nike Air Force 1 shoes (all black)
- New Balance 550 shoes (all black)
The student is a size 7 women's. It would be wonderful to receive the support to be able to provide this young person the correct shoes for school as it would allow for this young person to engage more holistically in their education.
