Resident impacted financially as a result of the February Bushfire event.

Resident is a single mother looking after her daughter. Resident had a serious horse-riding accident nearly a year ago, which nearly left her in a wheelchair. She has been attending all therapies and is on the amend. She and her daughter are both working minimal hours and were both affected by the fire evacuations on two occasions. Resident had to evacuate her 6 horses on two occasions which cost her quite a bit. She felt the impacts of evacuation and has up to $1000 in expenses. Resident had some confusion for cut off dates for the relief payment and did not get her documents emailed to the department of fairness and housing in time as she had a lot going on with her health. Resident has indicated she has felt the impact of 2 evacuations, which has impacted her financially and mentally. Resident is humble and would appreciate anything she can get, as she is working limited hours, and had no one else she can rely on for financial relief.
