GIVIT is an online donation portal designed to connect you directly to people in need. We request quality goods and pro-bono services for people in need. We request quality goods and pro-bono services for members of the community who are marginalised, vulnerable and disadvantaged. See the GIVIT List for what is required now.
GIVIT (a not-for-profit organisation) has a close relationship with 70 Queensland charities, foundations and non government organisations such as housing providers, crisis accommodation facilities, community mental health agencies and groups that provide services to underprivileged people in Queensland.
We have asked charities and organisations working with people in need to identify any item, goods or services that they are currently unable to provide - and we ask you to donate it!
Established in 2009, GIVIT was motivated by a desire to directly support victims of domestic violence, children in care, homeless children and foster families. GIVIT is not affiliated with any religious group or organisation and is managed by volunteers.
Our purpose is to connect our community with what is needed by our community. We specialise in "targeted giving" - ensuring no one slips through the gaps.
