Occasionally charities require a large number of items for their clients. We run campaigns on their behalf in order to help them publicise their requirements. Some of the most recent campaigns are below.
Homeless Connect - Toiletries
GIVIT is collecting emergency relief packs for Homeless Connect. Items required include:
- Toothbrushes (1,000 items)
- Toothbrushes (1,000 items)
- Men's underwear in a variety of sizes (600 items)
- Women's underwear in a variety of sizes (400 items)
- Socks (various) (1,000 items)
These packs answer the immediate needs of homeless people within your local community. If you feel able to contribute towards this wonderful cause, please email Paula-Jeni.Battilana@brisbane.qld.gov.au
Stationery Supplies Required
GIVIT charities support many families needing a little helping hand with their own fresh start. We are running a campaign to collect welcome packs for newly arrived children, who may have very few possessions. Items required include:
- 50 pencil cases
- 50 coloured pencil packs
- 50-100 lead pencils
- 50 erasers
- 50 sharpeners
- 50 colouring-in books
