At GIVIT we know it is often simple items that can break the cycle of poverty or have a significant positive impact on a person's standard of living.

If you are a Donor:
If you have any quality items to donate you, can easily use GIVIT!
We understand that GIVIT is a new concept, but it is also easy and is making a real difference in the community.
- Visit the GIVIT List to see what is required now in your community.
- Register to receive the weekly list to be delivered to your inbox.
- Donate items. You can upload information and photographs of your items on our Donate page and your items will go into our Virtual Warehouse. Only charities can see this information, and you may specify the delivery method.
- Donate to GIVIT. GIVIT is a FREE service to all charities, donors and recipients, and our sustainability comes from cash donations. GIVIT is run entirely by volunteers, but we do have some administrative and technology costs to pay.
If you are a Charity/NFP:
After a Charity/NFP, is authenticated there are many ways they can receive an item for their client.
- You may request any essential item or service for your clients. After submission, it is reviewed and posted on the GIVIT List on the website. Note: We do have a Prohibited Items list which details items you may not request.
- Campaigns are larger, more urgent requests requiring multiple donations, or to promote a charity and their needs. We inform the community through our weekly emails.
- Charities may access items from GIVIT's Virtual Warehouse. This is a list of donations that have been pledged by the public, but are only seen by charities.

Delivery
GIVIT is a portal. We connect those that have, with those that need - just like a dating agency!
We have no delivery vehicles or affiliation with transport companies.
Charities (via the GIVIT List) and Donors (via the Virtual Warehouse) will specify if they wish to have the item picked up or delivered. Once an item has been donated, the charity and donor's details are exchanged and they then organise delivery.
