A woman subjected to historical family violence needs support
This woman has exposed to significant family violence from her ex-husband and his extended family members. She has experienced all kind of violence including sexual, physical, verbal, emotional violence and coercive control from the perpetrator and his family. She left the relationship as she could not tolerate the various abuses and came to Australia with her young daughter. They are on bridging visa and are not eligible to receive any social security payments. The woman and the child are going through many health problems and the woman could not work as she was suffering from carpel tunnel syndrome and diabetes. The woman and her child don't have proper accommodation. They reside with someone known to her family are at the risk of homelessness. Women struggle to feed and educate the child due to these circumstances. Predominantly, woman and her child need support to buy food. If someone could assist this family with food vouchers that would be greatly impacted on them.
