A CALD 17-year-old, facing many barriers, pursuing education in hopes of achieving her goals.
A culturally and linguistically diverse 17-year-old, is in need of a laptop to complete her TAFE course. This young person immigrated to Australia 4 years ago from Iraq. This young person has faced many barriers and has overcome many challenges to get to where they are at. They have found a course which they love, Early Childhood Education and Care in hopes of aspiring to be a Nurse or Educator one day. Due to physical health concerns and participating in full time study, this limits their ability to work. Therefore, their income is minimal. This young person has a strained relationship with their family and is offered minimal support. This young person is highly resilient and focused on achieving her dreams.
This young person is looking for a laptop to complete course work. An office work voucher to purchase a laptop, or a donated device would be greatly appreciated.
