Couple lost everything and finding it hard to overcome the challenges of the floods

The flood water came up 1.6m inside the house. They lost everything in the flood. They did get some funds from the government which did not stretch very far and they had to live at a friends place while they worked on repairing and rebuilding. They were unable to work under these traumatic circumstances, and there was no work in their field, then or now. He is no longer supported by centre link and all his savings and the government money have almost dried up. There are still repairs to do to do the house.
