4 children subject to statutory intervention due to significant harm

There are 4 children currently subject to statutory intervention due to significant harm perpetrated by mum, suffering from addiction and poor mental health. Dad is currently incarcerated and is not well known to the children, due his ongoing criminal activity and incarcerations since their both.
One of the children is currently in hospital in critical condition and under sedation to address his medical needs due to neglect and ongoing abuse.
Family members have put their hand up to help care for the children whilst support services work with mum to address the CP concerns, however the family live over an hour away and require support in transport/fuel as well as extra food in the home.
