Give what's needed

Invacare Edge Barrier ramp

Syrian refugee father needs to find comfortable solutions to ease pain associated with his physical disability

A Syrian refugee father of five is living with significant pain after experiencing a fall from a three storey building overseas. He cannot walk unassisted or without pain and relies on a wheelchair. He has been sleeping on the floor given the pain associated with his current mattress and he needs support to obtain a medically approved alternative. He also requires and upgraded wheelchair as his current one is not comfortable. It would ideal for him to have an automated scooter, robust wheelchair ramp for his home and medically approved easy to wear shoes. This man is incredible mentally and emotionally resilient given his pain and caring responsibilities for five young children. Any support would be much appreciated to allow him to be more comfortable and independent. He does not have the financial means to purchase these items and support his young family.
