Family impacted by 2022 Floods in Northern NSW region. Black listed, DV.
The family were flood affected in Lismore 2022. The family have been itinerant staying in Emergency accommodation and this years finally secured short term accommodation in a pod village.
The family have been struggling for some time and kids have not able to attend school on a frequent basis due to trauma related matters. There has been a history of DV with both former partners and a recent event a few months ago where controlling behaviours and mistakes he makes continues to deflate mum, when she is trying to move forward in life.
The family have been blacklisted from their previous rental due to unforeseen circumstances which resulted in NCAT being involved. Mum has been working in tirelessly hard to find alternate accommodation, but to no avail. They do have some furniture, however, have not purchased white goods or lounges in case of damages in storage shed. Mum has no secured long term affordable housing with HOMES NSW. Any urgent help would be greatly appreciated.
