Host a Christmas donation drive at your local playgroup, mum's group, pre-school or kindergarten, and collectively donate pre-loved baby clothing to vulnerable mums.
Social workers at a maternity hospital are in need of essentials, including mixed newborn clothing, for disadvantaged mums and babies this Christmas.
They are wanting to be able to help mums at the hospital provide for their babies and give them a good start in life, especially with a safe place to sleep to prevent SIDS. To be able to achieve this, social workers are in need of a large amount (around 200 pieces!) of mixed clothing for newborns.
The vulnerable mums needing assistance in hospital have faced hardships due to financial struggles and limited family support. For many of them, their young age means they struggle to provide essentials.
There are also mums from overseas, who are stuck in Western Australia due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These mums are in great need of practical assistance.
Your donations are really appreciated. Thank you!
