Needed: 30 pairs of school shoes
A rural primary school with 180 students needs our help.
This school provides educational opportunities for many agricultural families and creates teaching and learning environments which enable students to be happy, healthy, engaged and successful. Unfortunately, the last few years have been extremely challenging for the school community with many families facing financial hardship.
The community of Tenterfield NSW, which the school is located in, has been directly impacted by several years of harsh drought, four major bushfires, the contamination of the town's water supply and the subsequent closures of small businesses.
Now, school families are being further impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This amazing school community is reaching our for helping, and urgently seeking 30 pairs of school shoes to give to children who do not have shoes to wear each day. Shoe sizes required are: 11, 12, 1, 2, 5, 6 & 7.
You can help by filling in the form to donate funds below. 100% of funds received will go towards purchasing school shoes as local as possible. It is very important to this community that all funds are spent locally to support local businesses.
Thank you for your wonderful generosity.

Meat vouchers help bush kids attend school camp
Drought relief comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes. What each person and community needs, varies remarkably. Sometimes, GIVIT is asked to provide tyres. Other times, it’s basic household goods. This time, it was meat vouchers to help feed 130 primary school students, 50 volunteers and 40 teachers.
