Communities in the Shoalhaven region have been severely impacted by the 2019/20 bushfires, the bushfires ravaged many areas, resulting in a significant loss of the environment. It has been reported by the community that there is very minimal wildlife and birdlife in the area due to the trees and plants being burnt so badly. Many of the residents in the area have lost not only their homes and belongings to the fires but the beautiful environment. However, almost all the community members have expressed that they would love to start regenerating the area with plants and seedlings. For the Shoalhaven community new seedlings and plants is a sign of growth and will help to restore the place they call home. Supporting the Shoalhaven communities health and wellbeing by providing a pathway through the regeneration of the area signifies a journey of recovery and hope to all who have been impacted by the 2019/20 bushfires.
