Retired Couple , home damaged , insurance rejected their claim

Elderly couple whose home was badly smoke and ash damaged in the 2020 bushfires ,both people have chronic health issues in the form of emphysema which was exacerbated by the smoke in the bushfires , seeking treatment is difficult as medical support usually takes place in Melbourne which is in stage four Covid lockdown.
Emotional support is usually provided by immediate and extended family , this support has had to cease due to stage four restrictions leaving them isolated .
Couple present as tearful and withdrawn during regular telephone support from Windermere discussing the difficulty of not being able to see family.
Damage to homes by bushfires were rejected by their insurance company as the flames did not come within 5 metres of their property , couple are requesting assistance with materials and labour to repair their home.
Exterior of the home is subject to damage from the weather if not painted.
