There will be a special Christmas function for the women and children of the bushfire ravaged isolated community east of Glen Innes. Its been identified this community has very many needs with many familes still in the process of rebuilding and establishing themselves after the fires. A number of the women have approached the local nurse requesting health checks and an opportunity to enjoy morning tea and or lunch out especially with the additional emotional and financial stress of Christmas approaching. Therefore a lunch has been planned with a number of items donated for the 35 attending.
