A proud Aboriginal elder, who shared that the impact of the bushfire has been tremendous because of his connection to country. He evacuated to Nowa Nowa and was instrumental in ensuring all residents of Nowa Nowa were safe. It was two weeks before he could return to his property, where he found damage to his property, including house and equipment. He has spent a lot of time making sure others are OK and is now being supported to look at his own needs. He wants to participate in Bushfire Enquiry to share his knowledge of cultural burning practices, but his laptop was damaged. He also wants to collect firewood for winter and repair fences, but lost his chainsaw along with other equipment.
