Support for vulnerable students of fire affected school on NSW South Coast

I work in a student support role at a coeducational public high school on the NSW South Coast. Our 650+ students are living with the impacts of trauma following the ‘Black Summer’ bushfires which affected our area. Our school has a high population of Aboriginal students. I am committed to supporting their engagement and retention in education, while also supporting the social and emotional needs of all students, particularly following the challenges they have faced this year.
