Volunteer - tutoring
Young girl with disability needs tutoring - well behind her peers - concerns she may be dyslexic
This little girl has so much going on for her :-
- Diagnosis of Tourette’s Syndrome
- Behavioural issues at school as a result of not understanding the work
- Cannot read; querying whether she has dyslexia
- Single Mother is on Centrelink at the moment and has no capacity to pay for tutoring
- The family are also survivors of domestic violence
It would mean the world to both this child and her mother if a teacher/tutor with skills in working with children with disabilities would be able to spare some time on a regular basis to help bridge the gaps for this little girl. Current blue card is required.
