Care Packages to assist in building support and resilience in our community
The Shoalhaven has had multiple natural disasters which severely reduced community resilience prior to COVID. The workers in our area have compassion fatigue and our most vulnerable have been severely impacted. Giving care packages to people not only helps the receiver to have hope and some practical support but supports the giver, be it a worker or volunteer, that they contributing to the well being a resilience of the community.
