Laptops for digital education to refugee women that can enable them to access online services and information about COVID19
We are requesting for 6 laptops for digital education. Most women from the refugee community are computer illiterate, they are faced with challenges during this pandemic they couldn't access online resources or information about distance restrictions., access services including helping their children with home schooling.
Digital education can help the vulnerable women learn how to use the internet, online services and information. also how to use Zoom to connect. Volunteers from the group Arise Women can help them with digital tutoring and how to download important apps on their mobile phones or other devices.
Additionally they will learn how to search for jobs and how to use email for communication. This group are stressed because of communication challenges and lack of computer literacy have resulted in mental health issues among the women. Empowering women with digital knowledge can enable them help their children as well at home.
