Generators needed for bushfire affected residents

Many residents living in the Mid-Western, Lithgow, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury region have seen their homes and properties destroyed or significantly damaged by the Black Summer bushfires in NSW. Many residents are living on their damaged blocks in converted sheds, damaged homes or caravans and in many cases they have limited or no access to power to run electricity. These residents are in desperate need of working generators so that they can run multiple electrical appliances at the same time. Some residents are currently only able to run one electrical appliance (i.e. fridge) at a time. This creates a situation where normal day to day household functions become an additional stress on top of the existing stresses associated with trying to recover after the bushfires.
