The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (Qld) Ltd (ATSILS), is a non-profit, community based organisation which delivers competent, equitable and effective criminal, civil and family law services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Aboriginal Males Healing Centre Strong Spirit Strong Families Strong Culture Inc

The Aboriginal Males Healing Centre Strong Spirit Strong Family Strong Culture Inc. (AMHC) is a charity, and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) providing culturally appropriate family violence services to First Nations people. The service is located and operated in Western Australia. AMHC was incorporated in 2015 and began working in 2018. AMHC’s vision is ‘that all First Nations women and children live safe and healthy lives free of family violence.’ We aim to reduce the overrepresentation of First Nations men incarcerated for their who use violence.

AMHC operates from the Parnpajinya Aboriginal Community (PAC). Sitting under the umbrella of AMHC is our ‘walk-up’ service, the Parnpajinya Aboriginal Males Healing Service (PAMHS). Current staffing is currently provided by “goodwill”. Staff work pro bono. Existing services provided by PAMHS include counselling, group therapy, men’s healing & wellbeing.

We can connect you to local services that can help with:

stopping any violence at home
budgeting and managing money
alcohol, drug or gambling problems
housing, health care or access to other community or government services.
You can use this service as often as you need. There is no limit and no cost.
