We have refugees and migrants who we help to assimilate into our community, homeless people and people on Centrelink payments. We give out food packages to them and last year 251 packages and 54 Christmas hampers were distributed. Also at present we have organised days with volunteers helping
. soup kitchen Tuesday nights
. craft days
. community group meetings for coffee and chat
. special event days - Mother's Day morning tea, Australia Day
barbecue
. curry nights and other culture food
. preschool age children playgroup
Fr Daniel Jayaraj is very good at connecting with everyone and we have plans to open a drop-in centre soon each day under our hall where we can distribute food and clothes. Our aim finally is to have a bus to pick up people
