Our service started facilitating an initiative where we along with local volunteer hairdressers and barbers supply monthly haircuts free of charge and free of judgment for the most vulnerable and marginalised members of our community.
This is more than just haircuts- this is impact and dignity, building positive connections and creating visibility for some of our most vulnerable, through the act of giving a haircut.
We offer the space and facilitation, laughs + food, and our vollie hairdresser/barbers offer time + service, creating connections with our clients. Our clients are not defined by their circumstances; they are seen, heard, and valued by our team.
To enable this to continue to be delivered with value, we are seeking funding toward supplies to alleviate some financial pressure off our volunteer hairdresser/barbers. We are seeking $350 to engage a local wholesaler for ordering. We appreciate your help <3
