Due to a broken washing machine, the family is relying on the local laundromat to clean their clothes. This has become increasingly difficult, as that required the Mum to transport large loads of laundry herself. This process is physically demanding and poses health risks given her medical condition.
Their teenager plays a vital role in caring for their mother and managing household responsibilities. Providing a washing machine would greatly reduce the strain on both the child and their mother, improve hygiene and wellbeing, and allow the child to focus more on their education and personal development.
