Elderly man on a pension struggling to make repairs to his home to get it back to what he remembers it to be
Flooding 2022
Elderly man owns his own property which was damaged in the flooding in November 2022. He has expended all government assistance on some repairs but this didn't cover all repairs that needed to be done to his home. He is on an aged pension and unfortunately has been utilising personal monies he had saved for retirement. This has been used as well and there are still rooms that need repairs made. He is struggling financially as well as mentally and feels that his home will never be like it used to be. He would be most grateful for any help with materials to finish making repairs so that this frees up his personal income to keep putting towards living expenses and paying bills.
