Urgent Assistance Needed:
A 42-year-old Aboriginal mother with two young children, aged 3 and 10, is desperately seeking help. The family was suddenly left homeless after receiving an unexpected notice from their landlord, and they have been couchsurfing for the past 5-6 months. After much struggle, a social housing property has finally been located for the mother and her children.
However, they urgently need beds, mattresses, and linen to create a safe, comfortable place for the children to sleep. While other organizations have been kind enough to provide some furniture, these children still don’t have proper beds. Instead, they will be sleeping on temporary sponge mattresses, which is far from ideal.
Your immediate help would mean the world to this family, allowing them to have the basic dignity of a proper bed to sleep on after months of uncertainty. We are truly grateful for your kindness and consideration in helping this family in their time of desperate need.
