This woman who is originally from Australia and has been living in the UK for the past 7yrs.
Whilst in the UK she was a victim of family violence which has included physical assault, emotional abuse and financial control. The woman's daughter has been witness to this abuse.
This woman was able to return to Australia with her daughter but has been left in severe financial hardship.
Due to the incident happening in the UK she was not eligible for any of the governments financial support as she was not a Citizen. Due to the incident not happening in Australia she has also not been eligible for financial supports such as Victim Services
This woman has arrived back in Australia with only clothes. She has no household items making it extremely difficult to be able to reestablish in a new home.
