A 50 -year-old grandmother with resilience and strength who will greet you with a huge smile and hopes for her future and her family. In her heart she carries a struggle that few can see from inside her prison walls.
She experienced years of battling mental health challenges due to childhood trauma and FDV which made her turn to substance abuse to cope with the pain. She is now a prison peer support for others and is wanting to turn her life around upon release at Christmas.
She is finally able to be free and live a life with her daughters and granddaughters after being in prison protecting her family. Your support can help provide the resources and motivation that she so desperately needs—professional help, food/fuel/clothing vouchers. Every donation will bring her closer to a life where she can live freely, be with family, welcome her grandchildren, and focus on her mental well-being.
