This young person has faced extraordinary hardship from the very beginning of their life. At just two years old, they were left alone in a public place and subsequently entered the foster care system, growing up without the stability and security every child deserves. The impact of this early trauma has stayed with them, and they continue to live with significant mental health challenges, working hard each day to manage and heal.
Alongside their emotional journey, they have also endured serious physical challenges. As a result of childhood trauma, they have recently undergone two knee replacements and a hip operation—major procedures that demand immense resilience and determination.
Despite everything they have faced, they remain focused on building a better future. They are now striving to secure their first ever home, a place of safety, stability, and belonging. Their story is one of strength, perseverance, and hope
