GIVIT
This person is a wonderful single Mum, whom we have known since her daughter was born in July 2022, with Hyperplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She had two surgeries in a series of three, however she lives at home on oxygen and is unfortunately ineligible for another surgery and is under palliative care. Hopefully they can get her to an age and condition where transplant might be an option.  They identify as indigenous and has been in and out of temporary accommodation situations for 2 years due to domestic violence and inappropriate share household conditions. They have only recently moved into a lovely public housing unit nearer to QCH, where they feel safe. She has just managed to pay all her utilities, but has very little left for food and has reached out to see if we have any avenues to find her a little support to help her through this week.

How it's helped before

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.

Thank you for your generous gesture & much needed support GIVIT.
