GIVIT
Single mother of three children, fled violent relationship with the children's father. Found support from a male 'friend', however he was violent towards her and abuse towards her children. She felt there was no other choice as she wanted to keep a roof over her children's heads. The 'friend' assaulted her two weeks ago. She had no option but to leave the home, she had to place her children into their father's care, whilst she couch surfed with friends. She has been attending to the children's needs by getting them ready for school and picking them up from school. The car broke down, she has had to walk or catch taxis to help with the children. Although she does have employment, she often needs to catch taxis. Seeking support to assist with finances, initially vouchers for food would be beneficial and then to assist with car repairs.
