We work with young people with a disability, who are at risk of becoming/are homeless. Often these young people have been faced with multiple barriers throughout their life, including experiences in out-of-home care, unemployment or underemployment, housing and financial stress etc.
A young man with a disability we are working with has recently experienced a change in his household members which has resulted in a loss of income to contribute towards household costs (e.g. rent, utilities, groceries). Due to high cost of living and long term unemployment, they are needing support from donors to access basic living costs.
