Serious financial hardship post Feb 2022 Flooding
Applicant has been severely affected during the February flooding and is facing financial hardship post disaster.
Applicant is the primary Carer for her grant daughter 8 and suffers from physical illness herself. She is also recovering from a recent surgery limiting her ability to attend to daily living. On top of that, applicant is also dealing with a recent death in the family (Grandchild) and also trying to help her daughter facing addiction issues.
They are struggling with home repairs and day today living as this family is also on low income only relaying on minute Centrelink benefits. Community recovery is assisting them with home repairs, but any assistance to support them financially will help them immensely and make the recovery a bit faster.
