This lovely gentleman's farming land, surrounding with cattle, was significantly impacted by the October 2022 floods in Barkly. The flood water caused damage to fences, creeks and his home located in his farm and he had no insurance coverage. This impacted his mental health significantly and currently linked with mental heath supports. This farmer is not gaining any income from his farm currently and therefore, he has started a casual job to help himself financially. However, the casual job is available for him only when they are short staffed. Therefore, this gentleman is struggling to provide for his family and experiencing significant financial hardship.
