Our service is seeking financial support for a single parent who had been a victim of sexual and domestic violence.
Our service is working with a single parent who is experiencing financial hardship due to chronic physical and mental health issues that resulted from past domestic violence and sexual violence. The parent is caring for their primary-school-aged child, and our service has been able to provide material support for the child. We would like to offer further assistance to the parent with clothing to help them maintain a level of self-worth and dignity and to be able to participate in their child's life to a healthy extent.
Due to the physical and mental health issues the parent will not be able to return to the work force in the near future, however they are working closely with services to promote long-term healing and to achieve a fulfilling life and an optimal parenting capacity.
Assistance for this parent is very much appreciated.
