Seeking support for the family of a young person experiencing a mental health crisis
Our service is seeking support for a single parent family dealing with the severe mental health crisis of a young person. Complex and very serious traumatic events in the past have an ongoing impact on this young person's mental health to an extent that they are currently under medical supervision receiving specialist mental health care. The young person's parent is providing their best support while also caring for the other children in the family and ongoing Covid-induced stress.
Donations are sought to assist with fuel costs to allow the parent to travel regularly between the family's rural home and the hospital, and with the family's food costs to allow the parent some peace of mind at this emotionally and financially incredibly taxing time.
