Fianncial stress with insurance rises
Resident had been waiting for repairs when again another heavy rainfall damaged the in process of repairs due to the Feb Storm. After initial claims were made, the was an immediate increase of the insurance rates. Reports to be an ‘enormous’ rise. There were also subsequent damages after some repairs starts and resident is fearing that another claims would further increase the insurance and she will have to cancel it altogether.
Resident and her husband have lost hours for their work. Further causing struggles financially. Finally resorting to going to the food banks. Although bills are paid, it’s the week-to-week food and groceries that have been put on the side. Resident seeks support to help get them by. Holding out till they get further increase in work to help their financial situation.
