Woman living with a mental health disability in social housing, hoping to pursue her love of writing and study at TAFE
This 51-year-old woman has recently been discharged from in-patient treatment at an inner Brisbane hospital. She has been living in social housing since 2013, and has struggled to access housing that is accessible for her. She would love to be able to study writing at TAFE, it has been a passion of hers for many many years. She speaks multiple languages and has difficulty with her memory and retaining information. She will greatly benefit from a laptop where she can set reminders, study and also access online services that are currently supporting her. She does not have the financial capacity to afford her own.
