Due to finances and mental health & pressure this yr 9 student is struggling and needs support for xmas & to stay at school
We have an awesome Year 9 student at school who works hard and contributes positively to our school, and is pivotal to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander homeroom.
He has not been at school for a few days now and when we reached out to mum she said his shoes are broken and he can't afford new shoes.
This also means the family probably won't be able to afford much for Christmas.
Would love to get some shoes so he can return to school and get them some vouchers for Christmas as well!
