My client who is a DV survivor and sole parent has recently had a major accident and is now unable to work
My client who is a DV survivor and sole parent has had her home and car flooded again over Christmas and is finding it very hard to recover from this as well as general cost of living. She had stopped work to care for her mother with dementia and also has her two children aged 13 and 16 at home. Recently my client had a major accident falling from a cliff near her property and spent many weeks recovering in hospital. The accident has greatly affected her memory as well as her eye sight and hearing and therefore she has not been cleared to return to work. Her daughter is wanting to find work instead of completing high school just so that they can afford to pay the bills and feed the family. Any assistance that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
