Elderly woman is struggling to feed her beloved horses since Lismore floods - please help them from going hungry!
This elderly woman had part of her farm destroyed by the catastrophic floods in February. As her farm is no longer operational (she lives alone and is elderly) she is not eligible for any farm grants.
Her horses are okay but not able to eat as much as they should - they're getting very skinny :-(
The floods have meant that her paddocks aren't producing as much grass as they should and are remaining muddy and caked over months after water rushed through them, Over the warmer months this should get better, she says.
At the moment this amazing lady is spending most of her pension fixing her boundary fence and buying horse feed - she doesn't want any other donations except for food for her beloved horses. She's been very clear about that.
Please help her keep their bellies full until her paddocks repair themselves.
