Local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families are doing it tough this year
The local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community are doing it tough this year and our Organisation would like to request support from GIVIT to make life that little bit easier this Christmas, many Community members have approached us requesting assistance during this time.
So many families are really struggling, some cannot put food on the table on a normal night, let alone trying to do something wonderful for their families during Christmas.
Many of our Community members/Families are survivors of DFV, or are still trying to navigate their way out of their situations, many are suffering addictions, and many are just finding it hard to survive with the cost of living.
Any help at this stressful time for our families would be truly appreciated.
