Requesting support for a young woman with intellectual disability who exited the care of Child Safety in early 2022 and has a young son in her care. This young woman was in a relationship while in care in which she experienced significant violence and abuse, and has made significant progress towards a new life of safety after her former partner was incarcerated for the violence he perpetrated against her. She has successfully sustained a tenancy of her own for 12 months, and is now moving towards taking the next steps on her recovery journey.
