Remote Community in need of gardening items that were damaged/lost in floods, to improve wellbeing.
Family members living in a remote community in the Fitzroy Region are spending most of their day and income on trying to maintain their property which was heavily damaged in the 2023 Floods. They are in need of some items to take some of the pressure off, as well as to improve their wellbeing through therapeutic gardening. Currently, they are having to handwash and scrub clothes without a washing machine as well as maintain the yard/outdoors without appropriate tools/resources, and other related challenges. There's a lot of work to be done but anything is a good start!
