Families at a small primary school in south Shepparton impacted by the Goulburn and Broken Rivers floods
Our organisation has identified seven families who attend a local primary school in the southern part of Greater Shepparton heavily impacted by the flooding of the Goulburn and Broken Rivers.
All 7 families had water inundate their homes, and nearly all their personal and household belongings have to be replaced. While these families wait in temporary accommodation, they are struggling to find the means to give their children an enjoyable and memorable Christmas while trying to support their families through one of the most challenging experiences.
There are 18 children across these 7 families who range in age from 2 - 17 years. We are hoping to assist these families with vouchers to help them purchase groceries, fuel vehicles and gifts to take the pressure of this Christmas.
