Single parent living with her high-needs adult son is having to repair their home after substantial rain and flooding flowed through their small home and contaminated their water supply. They are having to bring drinking water in until their tank and connections can be cleaned and repaired.
Community Recovery is assisting with eligible repairs, but they both are on limited funds and with the additional costs of water and repairs are struggling to make their funds stretch.
