New crisis accommodation being set up for 0-11 yr old children
Our service is setting up another house for Children aged 0-11 years of age to provide short term housing until a suitable home based placement can be provided for the Child.
We support many families who are faced with an emergency and have been unable to arrange alternative care for their children. Because of the diversity of children’s experiences, the service is flexible and committed to meeting the individual needs of children, young people and their families. The service is established within a residential suburb of Townsville to provide a safe environment for children and families to access.
