Can you help us support our volunteers to provide crucial relief and support to families and individuals in need?
We are a small neighbourhood centre serving all people in need withing our community, Our food relief program, 'Budget Grub Hub', helps hundreds of families and individuals who are struggling to put food on the table for a variety of reasons. Many are feeling the pinch after work dried up due to COVID-19.
The program includes provision of 40+ free hampers per week and a low cost grocery store, all staffed by a small team of dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers are mostly local but getting here can be difficult in bad weather and rising transport and fuel costs are impacting their ability to show up.
We are looking for vouchers for taxis and petrol to support our volunteers who are supporting this invaluable work within our community.
